Personal Statement
Integrity and Commitment. These are two of the most important factors when it comes to baseball and life as a whole. My idea of integrity is basically what you do when no one else is watching. This includes working hard in school and in baseball, since no one who watches sees the training or work that was put in, and they only see the final result. Commitment is equally as important, whether people are watching or not. Commitment could be doing whatever it takes to finish what you start, or getting the courage to start something. By and by, I feel like without these, it is very hard to progress in baseball and life.
Using these, my overall goal is to go to a good college to play baseball and advance my academics. But just because playing in college is my overall goal, if and when I get there, I am not going to stop striving for the next level. No matter what level I will be playing at, I will take aim at ameliorating myself, in the classroom and on the field.
