Personal Statement

My passion is to be the best pitcher I can be with the talents God has given me.

I train with Brian Holman, who is a former MLP pitcher.  Coach Brian has had a big influence on me and I am really blessed to work with such a talented coach.  It is because of his instruction and mentor ship, that I am where I am today.  To become more effective, I have shifted to throw side arm, and in this arm slot I have solid & repeatable mechanics.  I really like the feel and motion I have from this arm slot, it is hard for hitters to pick up the ball and the break on my 2 seam FB and change up keep the hitters off balance.

I train hard, work hard, and drive myself to improve every day.  This winter season, I have weight training workouts and a long toss throwing program every week to strengthen my arm and prepare for our spring season starting soon.  I do towel drills and shadow drills in the mirror to tighten my mechanics; I put a lot of effort into getting my mechanics right so I can be as consistent as possible.

I am a team player, my drive is to help the team succeed what every my role is.  When I am on the mound, my focus is on this next pitch and I try my best to not let pressure situations become a distraction.  Being mentally tough is a strength of mine.

Here are some videos of my pitching & game videos from last fall:

I am very involved in my church each weekend. I love music and audio system engineering & production. I am interested in church music ministry or an engineering degree in audio systems & acoustical design.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
