Andrew Goodlett '19 Recruiting Profile

I am looking for a quality education and a competitive athletic program where I can grow in the classroom and on the field. I plan to study biology, and hopefully continue on to medical school. I have worked hard to earn my current position as shortstop on my high school and travel teams and I have studied hard to be at the top of my class academically.  I have a 4.3 weighted GPA and a 30 on the ACT. I believe in doing whatever it takes and working hard to achieve your goals. I show up early and stay late. I enjoy the grind and hard work and I take pride in team work and being a leader on the field and in the classroom. I believe that my respect for my coaches and willingness to be coached, combined with my athletic talent and drive to succeed has helped me make a positive impact on every team I've been a part of. I want to pursue my academic degree while playing the game I love that has helped me become the person I am today. I want to be a part of a team that becomes my extended family and home away from home. I believe what I do on and off the field is a reflection of my team, coaches and school and promise to always represent them with honor and respect.
