Academics come before baseball because if you don't have the grades then you can't play. In college I want to study law Particularly focusing on fish and wildlife. I may not have the best grades or gpa, but I am makeing strategic moves to focus more by sitting with people I work well with. If there are not people I work well with, I have started to adjust myself so I can focus more and work better. My increased determination to do well in school also increased my determination to do well in baseball. I am willing to be flexible and do what's best for the team based on what the coach determines is best for me. I am willing to put in as many hours as it takes for example, I For instance, even in the off season when weightlifting ends, I stay after and go into our batting cages and work on my hitting to improve on my exit velocity.
