Personal Statement
Hello my name is Corrigan Bartlett, I am a Senior at Maize High School, home of the Kansas 6A
state baseball champions of 2001, 2005, and 2011, and also home of coach Rocky Helm, who was rewarded with the 2011 National baseball coach of the year. I am excited to play 4 years of high school baseball for such a credited and nationally ranked program. I feel that this will give me the experience and coaching to propel me into my college baseball career.
My build is 6'0", weight 205 lbs. Currently I run the 60 yard dash in 6.6 seconds with a personal goal to reach 6.5 by the
end of the year, I have a 28" vertical, and run the home to first sprint in 3.97 seconds.
Things I can offer to any school, program and or team is that I am a leader vocally and by
example, I’m willing to put anything out there to be the best, I will not ever quit on my team, and I will never just except a loss.
I've always dreamed of attending a NCAA Division I schools like the University of Texas,
Oklahoma State University and Texas Christian University. I have been drawn to
these schools because of their baseball, and academic success. In addition to these I'll be searching for opportunities at schools that fit my athletic and academic needs. My goals are
to major in a field of Engineering, play at the highest competition possible, and to be
successful at whatever I do.
Thanks,
Corrigan Bartlett
