Personal Statement
I am 6'4" Infielder/Outfielder and Pitcher from Wichita, Kansas and will graduate in 2015. I have played the game of baseball my entire life. My family has a very knowledgeable baseball background as my uncle played 12 years in the MLB and my father was an All-American catcher in college. I have the dedication and dream to play at the college baseball level. I have no desirable college in mind but plan to attend an above average competitive and educational college. Through my 4 years of high school I achieved a 3.97 GPA with honors and college classes. I’m always willing to push myself to be the very best I can be on and off the field and am always working hard to improve my game. I will always be 100% committed in doing everything and anything I can do to better myself and help my team win in any way.My Sophomore year of High School I started every game playing multiple positions. I started the majority of the games at second base but when needed I would have a strong impact in the outfield because of my speed and arm strength. I was also one of our two starting pitchers. I had a very strong defensive season as well as offensive as I batted .380. I earned All-League Honorable Mention that year for my accomplishments.My Junior year of High School I started every game as well playing multiple positions helping my team win in any way possible. I started the majority of the games at 3rd base but also when needed I had a very strong impact in the outfield. I also had a very strong impact in the starting rotation helping our team qualify for state and then finishing 4th in state. I also had a very strong impact on offense as well batting .447. I earned 1st team All-City honors and also was selected to the 2014 All-Metro team for my accomplishments that year.
