At Bat - RBI singlePersonal Statement
I'm a 5'11" middle infielder and will graduate in 2016. I was a JV starter my freshman year and named Defensive Player of the year. I started JV my sophomore year and was moved to starting varsity shortstop. Again, I was named Defensive Player of the year in addition to being named captain and MVP. My junior year I returned as the starting shortstop for varsity and was named to the Northern Kentucky Coaches All-Star team. I'd like to continue my role as a key member of the team in college.
I'd like to attend a college with a good Sports Business program. I love sports and want to continue working in a sports related field where I can share my passion with others. I've already begun by helping coach a 13U baseball team, a 5th grade basketball team and serving as a camp counselor at my school's baseball camp. I volunteer regularly at sporting events and look forward to the day I can do it on a much larger scale.
My goal is to play baseball while earning a degree. I want to be a key contributor to the team and the university as a student-athlete.
