February 2015Personal Statement
My name is Will Boothe, and I am a middle infielder in the class of 2016. I have been a starter on the Muhlenberg County Varsity Baseball Team since 8th grade and have played travel baseball for seven years. As a Freshman, I made the All-District Team as well as the All-Regional Academic Team. During my sophomore year, I was selected by the area high school coaches to the All-Area Baseball Team. When I was selected, my high school coach, Brad Rogles, gave me my biggest compliment, "Good teammate and just wants to win whether he is contributing offensively, defensively, or on the bases, approaches practice the right way and is just the ultimate teammate." I believe this is what I could bring to your team.
I also excel in the classroom. I am looking for a college that offers a high quality education that will allow me to become the best student athlete I can be. With my work ethic, dedication, and love for baseball, I believe I could make a positive impact on your team.
