Travis Gilbert '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Travis Gilbert. I am a 5'9 160 lb senior at Crittenden County High School in Marion, Ky. I am a 4 year starter for the Varsity baseball team. As an 8th grader I went 8-0 and made the All 2nd Region Team. As a starting pitcher, I had a record of 11-0 midway through my freshman year. I've made the All 5th District Team as a freshman, sophomore and junior.  I've played baseball since I was 4 years old and have played in the local little league program as well as USSSA & BPA Baseball. I've played American Legion Baseball and with the Indiana Spikes College Showcase Team. With the Spikes I played every position on the field. I'm a 3 year letterman in basketball and football. I hold a 3.95 GPA while taking advanced classes. My goal is to play Collegiate Baseball where I'd have the chance to play as a freshman. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to be a 3 sport athlete and hold a 3.95 GPA. I have always enjoyed and had passion for baseball and would love to play at the highest level possible.
