Personal Statement
Coaches, Throughout my baseball career, I have learned many things about playing the game of baseball. I have learned to respect the game and I feel that I have a strong baseball knowledge. I feel that I honor the game by showing hard work and dedication every day. I believe in always giving 110% on and off the field. Whether I am in class, or on the diamond, this is of utmost priority for me. I believe that I can be a strong college student-athlete in your program. I know that there is always the opportunity to improve, and I am excited for that opportunity. I know that I can make myself a better student and I can also be a positive influence for my teammates as well. I see myself as being a leader on the field, a leader in the classroom, and I know that I can become a leader at your institution. I believe that my character, my work ethic, and my determination to succeed make me an excellent candidate for your program. I believe that my actions on and off the field, along with my attitude, will be a positive reflection of your university. I am a hard worker, a strong teammate, and a coachable player who loves baseball. Thank You for your consideration in the recruiting process.
Sincerely, Payton Alexander
