I love baseball... Throughout my baseball career, I have learned many things about playing the game. I have learned to respect the game and I feel that I have a strong baseball knowledge. I feel my work ethic, talent, and drive will bring success to my family, team, and coaches alike. I love competition and am a natural athlete who plays with passion and honor. I am a student of baseball, who thirsts for knowledge both in and out of the classroom. I feel that I honor the game by showing hard work and dedication every day. I believe in always giving 110% on and off the field. Whether I am in class, or on the diamond, this is of utmost priority for me. I believe that I can be a strong college student-athlete in your program. I know that there is always the opportunity to improve, and I am excited about that opportunity. I know that I can make myself a better student, player, and can also be a positive influence on my teammates as well. I see myself as being a leader on the field, a leader in the classroom, and I know that I can become a leader at your institution. I've been a team captain for the last 10 years of my life, so I'm familiar with many characteristics of what it takes to be a good leader; selflessness, dedication, passion, integrity, and accountability. I feel I have the drive and talent to succeed at the next level and hope to have the opportunity to prove it to you. I believe that my character, my work ethic, and my determination to succeed make me an excellent candidate for your program.
