Personal Statement
Since I was a child playing coach pitch, I have aspired to play baseball at the college and pro levels. I feel that college baseball is the next step for me on my baseball path to success. I hope to attend a school in which the baseball program takes weight training very seriously. Hard work is part of my everyday life as I am at my coach’s facility at least five days a week to improve my game.
I love being on the field with my teammates, they feel like a second family to me. When I am not training or working hard to maintain my extremely high GPA, I am coaching at camps and practices for both swimming and baseball. I have also earned the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America, Eagle Scout, which requires excellence in leadership and life skills.
I plan to attend a college that has not only a great baseball program, but great academics, so I can earn a useful degree for life after my baseball career. Once I get to college, I will continue to work hard both on and off the field to become the best person and ballplayer I can be.
