Cason Womack '19 Recruiting Profile

My dream is to play college baseball. I live, breathe and sleep baseball! My love for baseball goes all the way back to T-ball.  Since then I’ve been part of 3 Little League State Championship teams, travel ball teams and now District Champion high school teams. I’ve played all the positions on the field and will play wherever the coach puts me. I hit for average, showing occasional power and rarely striking out. I’ve learned that baseball teaches you to overcome failures.

I broke my leg in January 2018 playing in a high school basketball game. This injury caused me to miss out on my Junior season of high school baseball.  I was able to play summer ball with Monroe Baseball and led the team in BA (.366) and OBP (.490). 

I was raised to respect my parents, teachers and coaches.  I am too busy in the batting cage or weight room to get into any trouble.  I make good grades and currently enrolled in honors classes to earn college credit during my Senior year. I hope that a prospective coach will overlook my physical size and instead look at my heart and determination to see that I will work hard to become a better teammate every day.
