Samuel St Jean '18 Recruiting Profile

My goal in finding the right college for me is to find a school that can provide me with an opportunity to play competitive college baseball but, more importantly, continue to challenge me in the classroom as Deerfield Academy has. I chose to attend Deerfield because I knew it would be a challenge both academically and athletically and that is ultimately what I am looking for in a college. I am a great candidate because of my work ethic and positive attitude. I am always looking to get better in all aspects of life no matter the obstacles. What makes me different from many other candidates is that I will never give up. If I am struggling in class I will go the extra mile to try and persevere whether that means finding a tutor or talking to the teacher and that carries onto the field. Always pushing myself to be the very best I can be is the mind set I have going into each and everyday and that can benefit any college program and campus.
