My goal is to do the best I possibly can at whatever level I am playing, and I hope to continue to improve so I have the opportunity to play in college. At a young age I set a goal for myself to play college baseball, and over the past several years I have put in a ton of time working on every aspect of my game so that I am able to reach that goal. I am motivated to do whatever it takes to have an opportunity to play college ball, and although it is not easy work there is nothing else I would rather do. I believe that one of my best qualities in baseball is my ability to learn from mistakes and make adjustments. Whether it be changing a certain part of my swing or taking extra grounders to improve my fielding - my ability to make adjustments has allowed me to become the player that I am today. No matter what team I am playing for I am willing to do whatever is necessary to help the team even if it means going out of my comfort zone to play something that I have never played before. Although I am now primarily a shortstop, throughout my life I have played every position from catcher to outfield, and if I have the opportunity to play in college I would be willing to play any position. As I continue to play baseball throughout high school and hopefully in college and higher levels, I hope to continue to play with the same attitude and determination that I did as a kid, so that I never stop enjoying the game.
