Personal Statement
My name is Adante’ Rhodes, I am 5’11 and weigh 170 lbs. I can run the 60 yard dash in 6.68 or better. I play varsity baseball at Riverdale Baptist High School in Prince George County Maryland. My primary experience is outfield, infield and some pitching. In addition, I have played on various club/travel teams since 2003. Multi-team experience helped me grow as a player, enough to win MVP of the year in my 8th grade year. Playing baseball in college has been one of my biggest dreams ever since I started at 6-7 years old. And I am hoping to fulfill that dream when I am accepted into college. Baseball has always been a family activity. I am one of the hardest workers on my high school team, I always show up on time and I always do what I am told. My desired major is Criminal Justice. My college goal is to improve my skills enough to be a starter in either my freshman or sophomore year. I hope that colleges will take an interest in me and consider me for their baseball program.
As a player I am very motivated and passionate about baseball. I am a very coachable player and enjoy learning all I can about the game; I also want to play at the highest level of competition. I am committed to developing my skills, and trying to reach my goals. My goal is to make an impact on any team that I play for. I have always carried myself with the mentality of first one on and last one off of the field and this is how I have run my life on and off of the baseball diamond. I always give 110% to all that I do because this is how I have been raised and this is the work that I want to put into everything I do.
