January 2013Personal Statement
My name is Lewis Finch. I am a 6 ft. 2in, 170 lb, junior at Cadillac High School, in Cadillac, MI. I currently play 3 sports and I have a 3.96 GPA and will graduate in 2015. I hope to play baseball collegiately and look forward to playing at a high level, as well as continuing my education. I am a left-handed pitcher with a fastball that is in the mid to upper 70s, a very good circle-change up, and a 12-6 curveball. I throw over the top and hide the ball well in my delivery. I have been Cadillac's #1 pitcher since my freshman year. I am a first baseman when I'm not pitching. During the summer, I'm part of the Grand Rapids Elite team, where I pitch and play first base, as well. I also play varsity football and basketball for my high school. My academics are very important to me and I want to go to a college where I'll be able to get a get a good education.
