Personal Statement

Baseball has been my passion ever since I can remember but academics is also very important to me when it comes to my college decision. I am pursuing a degree that enables me to do great things after college because I challenge myself on and off the field.

This past off season I completed a 6 month intensive strength and quickness program that increased my ability to play with more power and speed. I saw terrific results this past spring and into this summer thus far against the best competition at tournaments such as East Cobb / Perfect Game. Off the field in the classroom I challenge myself with AP and Honors classes at a very rigorous high school. I carry a 3.7 GPA and earned at 29 on the ACT. I plan to continue my Spanish studies in college in conjunction with work in social justice that I found I had a passion for during a school mission trip to Ecuador.
