C. Dustin Renfroe '16 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goal is to achieve a degree in my field of study and be successful in Division I baseball.  I believe that my attitude and my character are what makes me a good candidate for any team.

  My skill set has allowed me to be one of the top one or two players on every travel team I've been a part of as a pitcher, second baseman, third baseman and wherever I was needed.  I am different from other recruits in terms of character because I have embraced the high expectations placed on me by my family and coaches. I am extremely competitive as well as compassionate about everything I do.  I have the heart and drive to accomplish anything I set out to do.

I have been fortunate enough to develop my skills through hard work: private lessons, team practices, working alone to better myself.  Academically, I have excellent study skills, high aptitude for learning and consistently complete 100 percent of the required work as well as any extra credit assignments available.  As a 15 year old Junior I have a current GPA of 3.5-3.6 and took the PSAT; my counselors project my ACT score to be 33+.
