June 2012Personal Statement
My name is Ethan Michael Wiskur. I am a 6'5", 205 lb. junior at Powers Catholic High School in Flint, Michigan. Academically, I currently carry a 4.21 GPA and have been nominated Academic All League/Conference all three years. This year I also made Academic All-State Honors. Athletically, as a freshmen, sophomore, and junior, I was the starting varsity pitcher/catcher, batted third with a .434 as a freshmen, .474 as a sophomore, and this year a .505 batting average. I have made 1st teams All Conference, All District, and All Region all three years. Just this season I made 1st Team All-State Honors. Being from Michigan, attending a college from the Great Lakes region would be ideal, but I am open to explore college opportunities from other states that would best accomodate my goals. I intend to continue to strive academically so I can pursue a career in the medical field, and strive athletically to possibly play professional baseball.
