Nate Doolittle '18 Recruiting Profile

The things that set me apart from other athletes include my competitiveness and doing whatever it takes to accomplish team goals.  Of course I have personal goals, but I make sure my goals support the team goals by talking with coaches and other players.  I have academically set myself apart by being bilingual; I can fluently read, write, and speak Spanish and have been doing so since Kindergarten.  My parents sent me to a Spanish immersion school, and though at times it was very difficult, now it sets me apart and will aid me in my career goals.  My long term goals are to play baseball at the highest level my abilities will allow, and to be a student athlete who is able to get an education while playing the sport I love.  Playing college baseball is very important to me and I will do everything I can to play as long as I can, but I know it won’t last forever and I will need a great education to get jobs that I am willing to do.  I am looking at International Business or possibly Engineering.
