Personal Statement
My name is Michael Ryan from Holly, Michigan. I am a catcher on my school and summer travel teams. I go to Bishop Foley Catholic High School and during my school season I was an every day starter at catcher, designated hitter and have been playing at the varsity level the past two years. I play summer ball for the South Oakland A's 16U - Lelli. I also catch and play 1st base for my summer team. The past two years I have been a Prospect Wire Underclass All American. I have made these accomplishments with my hard work on and off the field. I have developed myself into a powerful right handed hitter who is able to hit the ball the other way. As a catcher I am an easy target to throw to with a big frame, block and receive the ball well, and quick transfers with a good arm to help my throw downs to second.
My main goal as a 2016 graduate is to prepare myself to become a 4 year starter in college. With my hard work ethic and willingness to become the best, I look forward to working with my college coaches and teammates to be a part of a championship team.
