Personal Statement
My name is Paul Alex. I am a senior at Franklin Road Christian School. I want to play collegiate baseball because I love the sport, the competition, and the challenge that baseball presents. Although I have a goal of playing college baseball, my education is the most important variable while choosing a college. My academic goal is to further my education and enter into a pre-med course, and then eventually enroll in medical school. I believe that education is the key to my future, and I must choose a school wisely. I have a drive to achieve academic excellence because I know the standard to which I am held as a student-athlete. With that being said, I would like to become an infielder or catcher at the collegiate level. I bring a good attitude, hustle, and willingness to learn the game to every practice. I respect authority that is over me, and that has helped me become a better student and athlete. The challenges baseball has presented to me have helped me become the baseball player I am today. There is never a time when I play the game for my own pride and recognition, but I play for the team, and always stay humble.
