Jacob Lipetzky '16 Recruiting Profile

     Hi, my name is Jacob Lipetzky. I will be starting 2016 off as a senior at Gabriel Richard High school. I currently stand at 6’5, and weigh 190lbs. I have been a three sport varsity athlete since I was a freshman in 2012. I am the starting quarterback for the football team, a power forward in basketball, and I also pitch for my high school baseball team. When I am not playing or practicing a sport I enjoy spending time with my big family. I also love to hunt and fish.

     I currently hold a 3.5 GPA and I have recently been inducted into the National Honors Society. This is a huge accomplishment for me. It shows that I am able to excel in sports as well as my education. For my college degree I would like to pursue a career in business. I have grown up around entrepreneurs my whole life. My dad and mom have taught me to be a hard worker and put 100% into everything I do. There is no limit that I can’t accomplish if I give my all and never give up. I am undecided as to where I would like to start my college career. I am open to go out of state or stay in state.

     I have had the honor of being one of the captains of all three sports, football, basketball, and baseball since my junior year. Being named a captain can be a hard spot to be in. I not only have to worry about how well I am doing but I also have to make sure that the whole team is playing as a whole. I am the person that everyone goes to when there is a problem or if they need extra help, because of this I have been able to build up my teamwork, problem solving, and leadership skills.
