My GPA is 3.58 and my SAT's were 1090(I am retaking the SAT's in November). My goal is to major in business with an emphasis in franchise management/finance and continue playing baseball after high school.
Last spring our high school season ended when we lost 5-4 to Chelsea in the division 2 quarterfinals. We finished 20-16-1 getting hot at the right time. We won the districts by defeating Williamston 10-8 then Owosso 3-2, we went on to win the Regional defeating Goodrich 15-5 then Fowlerville 3-1. During this run I was the catcher, batted 11 for 17 (.647) had two doubles, 8 RBI's and a walk.
I play a utility role on my high school team--both corners on the infield but my primary (and favorite) position is catcher. Offensively I had a batting average of .453, OBP of .553, SLG .642 and OPS 1.195 also I led the team with 24 walks, had 48 hits--11 doubles, 3 triples, 1 homerun (380' to dead center) and 35 RBI's. My summer team was Oakland Baseball Club based out of Clarkston played most of our tournaments in the state of Michigan with two tournaments out of state. Nationals which were at Indianapolis, Indiana and Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. I was our teams only catcher and offensively I led the team in games played = 21, plate appearances =72, at bats = 58, Avg. = .397, OBP = .514, OPS = .945, SLG = .431, Hits = 23 (21 singles), RBI's = 19, and Walks = 13.
