Personal Statement
My name is Max French. I am a class of 2022 first baseman with the goal of playing college baseball while earning a degree in business management. I believe that baseball has truly helped me become the man I am today, it has taught me patience, a positive mindset, how to deal with failure, and that hard work pays off. I'm a kid who goes out on the field every day with a reason to get better. I've been surrounded by baseball my whole life and I wouldn't trade it for the world because it has made me a better ball player and a better person.
I strive to be the best student I can in the classroom by keeping my grades as my first priority. I understand that school comes first and by having good grades, eligibility will never be an issue. I implicate good study habits so that when college rolls around I will be able to keep up and on task to maintain good grades. At the moment I have a 3.7 GPA, I have worked pretty hard for it but the sky is the limit and I know I can improve.
Playing at the next level (college) has been on the top of my goal list for a very long time. And I plan on achieving it! I know it takes commitment and I'm willing to put enough passion and work in to get there! My family has given me a great example that you get out of it what you put into it, and that is something that I have lived by and will continue to live by.
Thank you,
Max French
