My name is Nathan Richter. I am 14 years old, and I will be starting ninth grade at De La Salle Collegiate High School in the fall of 2023. I am 6 feet tall and weigh approximately 150 lbs. I throw and bat right-handed. I am currently the starting catcher in my second year on a travel team in Michigan. I am proud to say my grades are good, and I currently have a 3.5 GPA. I am very close to my family, and we enjoy spending time together outdoors. I have been playing baseball since the age of 4, beginning in a recreational city league. From early on, I believe one of my strongest attributes is my commitment to the team, not just my own personal goals. I am always one of the first to the field, and one of the last to leave. I am a humble person by nature, and I believe I am very coachable. I am usually one of the loudest on our bench, cheering on my teammates! My personal goal is to play college baseball. Ideally, that would be in a southern state like Texas or Florida, at a Christian school, but I would consider any school where I can continue to develop as a player. I am a very loyal and committed person and would give everything I have to a college that would make the commitment to me. My ultimate goal is to play at the highest level of competition I can attain while gaining skills and knowledge that I can use to mentor and teach the next generation of players.
