Personal Statement
When people see me, I want them to see consistency. Steadiness. Commitment. Heart. A teammate that understands individual accolades and top conference stats are nice to have, but after years of putting in the time, and setting a goal as a unit there is nothing as exhilarating as when the journey together leads to competing for a title as a team. Play in the moment, but remember life needs to be bigger than the game. Win or lose, finishing the season with your heads held high because everyone on the roster grew not just into better athletes, but into a family of brothers.
I've had a bat or ball in my hand on the diamond since I could walk and have been raised to be both mentally and physically tough. My dream like so many others who eat and sleep baseball is to play in the MLB. There would be no greater way to finish my high school career than by earning the opportunity to play the game I have loved my whole life, the game that has given me and taught me so much, while pursuing that dream and graduating with a college degree in sports medicine.
