Lincoln Berry (2021 2B, Inver Grove Heights, MN) Berry displayed good strength at contact with the ability to generate tight back spin off the barrel when squared. Produced easy carry on a triple to straight away center field in his second at bat of the game.

Made the Rawlings Top Prospect Team. Lincoln Berry is a 2021 2B/3B, SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Inver Grove Heights, MN who attends Eagan. Medium frame with slender, athletic build; ran 60 yard dash in 7.47 seconds. Hits from even-based stance with relaxed set, stays committed to the middle of the field through approach, quality bat speed on linear path, does a good job consistently finding the barrel, solid liner jump off when square, will gain more power as he continues getting stronger. Worked out in the infield, good footwork, surrounds the ball well, fields out front with a purpose and works through the ball well, clean to backhand, clocked up to 78 mph on throws across the diamond. Very good student.

Made the Rawlings Top Prospect Team. Lincoln Berry (2021 2B, Inver Grove Heights, MN) The projectable 2021 grad showed an easy swing with a line drive approach. Flashed good barrel control with the line drive approach collecting two base hits during the game including a loud line drive over the short stops head.

Tall stance, uses lower half well, clean bath path, drives ball well to gaps, above avg. bp and was one of better hitters at event, 83 mph exit velocity. Easier actions to field, confident glove, works through ball, solid accuracy to bag, has athletic movements, 78 mph arm across infield.
