Personal Statement
I never made an all- star team until I was 11, which is when I started pitching. I will be the first to admit, I have a lot to learn on the mound. That being said, I would love the chance to work with a coach that can give me the guidance I need to be better. I have never had the benefit of working with a coach that could really help me with my pitching. Everything I know about pitching has been acquired through pitching lessons when I could get them, and just getting out there on the mound and finding out what works. If I am given the opportunity of getting to work with a coach that can help me be a better pitcher, I can guarantee that you will not find anyone more willing to listen and take everything in.
I am the definition of a "team player". For the 2017 school season, I played SP, 3B, C, LF, and RF. I will play anywhere you ask me to play. I was a SP for the Junior Varsity, and RP for the Varsity.
For the 2018 season, I also played 3B, C, LF, and RF, as well as SP for the Junior Varsity, and RP for the Varsity.
So far in our practices for the 2019 season, I have been playing some 3B, 2B, OF, C, and SP.
It would be a dream come true to be given the opportunity to keep playing baseball when I graduate high school.
Thank you for taking the time to read my statement.
