Personal Statement
My collegiate goals and aspirations are to pursue a degree while continuing to play the sport for which I have always had a passion and drive - baseball. Baseball continuously pushes me to always give 100%. This dedication is clear in my academics as well as my training. Working hard both on and off the field is not just important to me, but it really demonstrates who I am as a person. These factors make me a good candidate for your team. I value not just the team concept, but the team as a family. Being an only child, I view my teammates as my brothers. I believe it is crucial to have the ability to communicate with one another, to promote a sense of loyalty, and to maintain trust within a team. Those qualities are not only important for baseball, but they are also vital to my future career as a first responder. What makes me different from other recruits is simply the fact that I am coachable, I put in the work necessary to achieve, I am quick and ready to give my best to a team while helping others achieve as well.
