Personal Statement
Hello my name is Jacob Sigler, I am a Catcher and First Baseman from St. Louis, MO. Ever since I was little baseball has been an obsession for me. The passion of the hard work that goes into getting better and the thrill of the game has only grown over time. I am a hard worker, a leader, and will always have a positive state of mind that will help me and those around me get better as people and ball players. I believe if you want something bad enough you can always accomplish it by putting in the time and effort. I myself have put this philosophy into effect through every part of my life whether on the diamond or in school. For example, overcoming years of a learning disability in elementary school to becoming an honor student with a 3.73 GPA in high school by putting in countless hours and extra tutoring help I have reached my academical goals. My future collegiate goals inculcated purposing a degree in mathematics and playing college baseball, while keeping my grades up. I look forward to hearing from you to find out more about your program.
