Personal Statement
My goals and aspirations are to play collegiate baseball, simple as that my goal is to be able to play at the next level. I believe I can fit into most baseball programs due to my determination, competitiveness, positive attitude, and willingness to take in advice from coaches and execute it as quickly as possible to perform my game at its highest possible level. What makes me different from other recruits is the fact along with my physical abilities, I take the mental side of baseball much more seriously then most. Being able to be mentally stronger then other people allows me to gain advantages on them in many different ways and achieve personal/team goals as quickly as possible.
Now talking about character, I like to describe my character in 4 words. Tough, Discipline, Devoted, and Grateful. I believe these 4 words can describe who I want to be on and off the field. I say this because I need to be tough physically and mentally. Disciplined academically and athletically to achieve at the highest level. Devoted to my team, my family, my schooling, and any of those that have effected my life in any way.
Academically I am apart of the CEMS program at my school. CEMS stands for "Centers around Engineering, Mathematics, and Science," Pursuing my educational goals is very high on my priorities, and take my education very seriously. We all know that at some point baseball must come to an end, and when that does for me I want to be as prepared as possible when then pursuing and hopefully being successful with jobs that don't involve baseball.
