Collin Riley '16 Recruiting Profile

My personality is one of pure hard work and determination. I am the type of player who when I set my mind to do something I will refuse to give that up until I have accomplished my goal. I am a very coachable player who will do anything asked of me by my coach to improve my team and teammates. Failure will never stop me in my pursuit of my dreams, if i don't succeed at something I don't quite, that only motivates me more to do anything i have to do to reach my goals. I am a very hardworking student, in the class room, I always strive to get good grades and to make the honor role. My goal is to play college baseball, if I can accomplish that, my goals will only grow as I try to be the best player i physically and mentally can be for all of my coaches, teammates, and fans who are cheering for the team. I am the type of athlete who will do what ever it takes to succeed, I am not afraid of hard work, hard work only makes me want to succeed that much more. There are many quotes that help to explain me as a player, The two quotes that motivate me the most are from Derek Jeter "There may be people that have for talent than me, but they will never work harder than me." and "Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard." Any coach who is interested in me will get a hardworking Minnesota boy who will never quit on his coaches, his teammates, and himself. I will be the best i can be for that coach and will do anything to show that, i give 110% on anything i have to do and don't settle for anything less than my best.
