Blake Duncan '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello coach I am Blake Duncan a Catcher/INF in the class of 2018

I began playing baseball as a catcher at a very young age of 4 years old I have always had a strong passion for baseball especially since my dad and older brother played it.I love catching because it's not a boring position where you can' take your mind off the game for a few pitches and not get burned for it. Becoming and playing catcher for most of my life has really made me learn to concentrate on a lot more than just the baseball it also helps in the classroom concentrating on work because school matters just as much if not more than that 3-2 fastball on the black matters when you're trying to close out a game I can also say that my brother,father and a few other friends got me involved in baseball and I can't go a day without tossing up a ball or practicing my transfers or swinging a bat I really do love baseball and want to play at the next level successfully 

I would love to play college baseball but the main goal I'm trying achieve is to go school and get a degree in history I'm preparing for the worst, but praying for the best.

Academics first, Athletics second is my motto.
