Cole Chandler '16 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6'2 RHP/C/OF. I attend Hillcrest Christian School in Jackson, MS and will be graduating in 2016. I currently play football and baseball at the varsity level. I have started on the varsity football team since my sophomore year at wide receiver.

I traveled with the varsity baseball team as an 8th grader. I was the starting pitcher for the 9th and 10th grade team as a freshman. I was also the starting 3rd baseman and relief pitcher for the varsity team as a freshman. During my sophomore year, I was part of the starting rotation as well as the starting 1st baseman. Durning my Junior season I started at Catcher and batted third in the line up. At the conclusion of my 2015 season(JUNIOR) I was awarded All Conference 2nd team.

I have been playing baseball since I was three years old and I plan to continue playing through out my college years.  I consider myself an all around athlete. I am always looking for ways to better myself on the field as well as in the class room. I mange my time well enough during the off season to have a part time job as well as continuing to train for the up coming season.

I have had a variety of coaches over the years with different personalities and expectations. I have always maintained a good attitude and working relationship with all of my coaches.  Although I have never been the oldest player on the team, I have been called a leader by my teammates and coaches. I believe I can bring enthusiasm, motivation, and leadership skills to any program.
