Pitches from a high three-quarter arm to true three-quarter slot and works at 80-83 mph with his fastball. Has a strong pitcher's frame. Shows nice running action on his fastball with late two seam dive. Has a swing and miss 71 mph curveball with 11-5 rotation. Also spins his changeup well and keeps his arm speed. • Named to Rawlings Top Prospect Team. Hayden Hamm is a 2016 MIF/RHP/OF with a 5-11 190 lb. frame from Pascagoula, MS who attends Pascagoula HS. Medium buil with present strength and solid athleticism. Ran a 6.82 60-yard dash. Solid performance on the mound, threw exclusively from the stretch. Up-tempo delivery with energy, solid use of lower-half. Uses big leg lift and works to 3/4 arm slot, fastball up to 86 mph with solid life and ability to induce ground balls. Also worked in curveball in mid-70s with 11-5 rotation and a changeup. Shows solid actions in the infield, moves pretty well to both sides, showing solid agility and footwork. Arm plays well across the diamond. Right handed hitter, spread stance, brings hands inside ball, direct swing path. Middle of field approach, flashes ability to pull ball, shows feel for barrel and ability to repeat approach. Excellent student.

CSB Tide Scout Team take out Diamond-Simcox Academy Baseball Orange 17U with help from Hayden Hamm, 7-4 CSB Tide Scout Team beat Diamond-Simcox Academy Baseball Orange 17U 7-4 in seven innings on Tuesday at PG@ LakePoint Field 16 behind Hayden Hamm, who went 2-4. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the second inning.

• Named to All Tournament Team. Batting Average 467. Hamm went a perfect 2-2 at the dish for CSB Tide Scout Team. He singled in the first and sixth innings. Hamm was in control on the hill. The Long Island Titans Blue 17U managed just two hits off of Hamm, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his 2 2/3 innings of work.

A two-run single by Hamm scored Caleb Hudgens and Howell to give CSB Tide Scout Team the lead for good. Hayden Hamm paced CSB Tide Scout Team at the plate against Team Demarini. Hamm went 2-3 and scored one run. He singled in the first inning and doubled in the fourth inning
