  • DSB Skills Showcase Fleming Stadium - Wilson, NC 300 Stadium St. SW Wilson, NC 27893 August 9-10 (Saturday and Sunday) DSB Skills Showcase gives players a higher level of visibility to college coaches by using an instructional clinic format. We take great pride in helping players work towards their goals of college/ professional baseball. This event is an opportunity to work with college coaches on the field. Coaches will be evaluating, giving instruction, and coaching the teams in the dugout. Our goal is to give players an extended opportunity in front of the coaches and gain valuable feedback on their game. Each player will get a written evaluation done by a college coach to get a better understanding of where their skill set falls on the collegiate level. Players will be evaluated on the field in a pro style work out (60 yd dash, defensive work, pop times, radar tee and BP) on Saturday morning and receive instruction from the coaches on Saturday afternoon. Players will choose 2 positions they would like to get instruction on. Each player will play in one game on Sunday. The games will be modified to allow every player the opportunity to be seen. Pitchers only will throw 2 innings and secondary pitchers will throw to 4 batters and be evaluated during the games. Typically hitters get 3 at-bats. "Pitcher Only" call or email for pricing.
