My name is Levi Ray, I am 6 ft and weigh 185 and my position is catcher. My dream is to continue my catching abilities at the next level after high school. I have been playing baseball since I was 9 and catching is for me. But I am one of those players that can back up and play any position on the field, but my passion is a catcher.
In 2011, I was proud to be part of the Junior League North Carolina State Championship team. We went on to play for the chance to compete in the Junior League World Series for District 7. We finished 4 in that tournament. This was a experience that I will never forget and want to strive to always be on the winning team. I have actually been on the Wilkes County AllStars team each year I played for Rec ball in my local town.
What I can offer as a catcher is to always to my best....keep learning...keep getting stronger. I have always dreamed of playing college baseball, to become a great role model for those underclassman who have the love of baseball as I do and also to make my parents proud.
I would love to be placed on a team that I could play as a Freshman and still continue to improve my skills and get a great education.
