Personal Statement
Coming from a long line of baseball athletes, raw talent runs in my blood. The exhilarating feeling I get while on a baseball diamond can't be beat. My love for the game solidifies my goal of playing at the collegiate level.
Growing up in a baseball family, my baseball IQ helps me be a confident, motivated leader for my teammates. Being a multi-sport varsity athlete, many coaches have complimented my leadership skills and coachability. Precision and adaptability for correct fundamentals is imperative.
To me, self discipline is not only important on the field but also in the classroom. From a young age, my parents instilled in me effective study habits and I am focused on maintaining/improving my 3.6 GPA. My teachers would describe me as respectful, attentive and hard working in the classroom.
My goal after high school is to be accepted into a program that enhances my dedication for growth in the class room and on the field. I want to be a part of a setting that has opportunity for advancement in academics and sports.
