Erik Griffith '15 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Erik and I’m a student and baseball player at DC West High School.  I will graduate in the class of 2015.  I have been playing baseball since I was 6 years old.  The majority of those years were played on a club team that won two Nebraska state championships.  My primary positions are third base and pitcher, however, I have played every position on the field when my team has needed me to.

Baseball is a passion of mine and I hope to play somewhere in college.  I consider myself to be a team leader, always helping out our younger players and making sure the team stays positive regardless of the situation.  I started every Varsity game at third base as a sophomore and have started every game at third or on the mound so far this year.  I strive be the best baseball player I can be and work just as hard in practice as I do during games.

I am looking for a college where I feel at home and can grow as both a student and an athlete.  I am currently leaning towards a degree in either Business or Sports Therapy.  I am open to all types of schools and just want to contribute to my school and team.  Thanks for reading my profile and hope to hear from you!
