Personal Statement
Living in a small town like, Sutton, sports has been everything. Our class is a small class, which makes us all push each other to the limits. Pushing each other has made me compete in every sport and led to many state appearances and state medals. My favorite state medal would be my freshman year for baseball, when our team of underdogs, made it the final day of state baseball and took home a third place medal. That year showed me a lot about myself in the sport of baseball. I learn that if you have the work ethic and the desire to win, you will in the end come out with the victory.
Now that I am a senior and a leader on every sports team I participate on, I know my time is running short for high school sports and that is my fuel to take baseball to the next level. I feel like I am good enough as a catcher and academically smart to play baseball at the next level. I know I have the work ethic to compete at the next level and the leadership skills to leave an impact on your baseball program.
