Personal Statement
For as long as I can remember, I have loved the game of baseball. I have always dreamed of competing at the college level. I am a high energy motivated team player with an outstanding work ethic. Coaches have always said I work harder than most players and am always striving to improve my game. I am a natural leader. I have also learned that you practice like you play. I’ve always known that if I work hard in practice, then it will pay off in a game. It helps that I tend to be my own toughest critic and compete with myself. In order to improve, the only way to get there is hard work. That applies to my sports and my academics.
