Personal Statement
Hello my name is Ethan Crawford and I am a 6'0' 175 lb Shortstop. My secondary position is 2nd base and that is the position I am currently playing for my high school team. I have learned from baseball that I can always bring a challenge. Playing baseball made me trust myself more in the uncomfortable situations that life brings to me. I think I can help improve a team with my maturity and ability to not quit. I really want to get into a great school that has a great engineer technology or a computer science program. This is because if baseball fails on me I can always count on a technology career because that is what the world is going to be controlled by. When I was a freshmen, I was called up to varsity a fair amount of times Before the beginning of my sophomore year I was told by my doctor I was diagnosed with an elbow problem called epicondylitis. So it brought my confidence down and made me doubt my ability to play baseball. However I was able to overcome this problem and go through physical therapy. I am currently the starting 2nd baseman for my high school team. From the field to school I have been told I possess a great work ethic. I would like to pursue baseball in college and I believe I acquire the qualities to do so.
