September 2017 Personal Statement
My athletic collegiate goals are to complete my four years and to be part of a baseball team that I can be an addition to. I am pursuing business sports and thinking of a law degree. Baseball has taught me good things can't be rushed. I have had a struggle with playing ball. The cards were not always on my side. I did not make my junior year high school team. Failure either makes you fight or take flight. I chose to fight and work hard. My confidence was bruised and I felt lost without baseball. I felt the door to my home my biggest classroom was slammed shut. Now I work hard everyday and know I belong on the mound with the cleat to the clay. Great things can happen with perseverance. You'll see me out there
