Personal Statement
I caught the baseball bug when I made my first all star team at 9 years old. Since then, I have dreamed of playing college baseball and have pushed myself to make that dream a reality. As I enter my senior year, I know that goal is within my reach.
On the field, I am a great teammate. When I’m pitching, I always stay positive and focused. When I’m not pitching. I remain a positive influence on the team. Whether it’s warming up my teammates between innings, hitting pre-game fungos to the outfielders or being ready to pinch run, I do whatever I can to help my team win.
Off the field, I am a consistent honor student. I am also dedicated to developing the youth of my community. I’ve volunteered to teach several athletic classes at my local elementary school, and work as a counselor at a facility that hosts children’s birthday parties.
I look forward to getting stronger my senior year, having a great spring season, and starting my college career in the fall of 2018.
