Colin Miller '17 Recruiting Profile

I'm a 6'3" left handed pitcher at St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute. I have put considerable effort into improving my skills on and off the field every day and year round. My work ethic and desire to win has helped make me a leader and standout on every team team that I've played. My coaches have described me as a fierce competitor on the mound while maintaining an even demeanor at all times. Last year I was invited to the Empire State prospect game and I will be attending again this August. I expanded my commitment to playing in college this summer by playing for three teams, Jurek Legion Post, Buffalo Stampede and the Western New York Renegades Showcase. I participated in 10 high level showcase tournaments this summer. I am continuing to grow physically and believe I still have significant room to develop as a pitcher. While I'm an honor roll student and I look forward to continuing my education, it is also my dream to play baseball in college.  I'm specifically looking to play for a team that I can contribute in any way possible to make an impact on achieving a successful season.

I'm open to exploring options with either large or small universities. My father is a professor at D'Youville College and has tuition exchange opportunities with over 600 Universities.  I'm interested in majoring in the Health and Science field.
