Personal Statement
Ever since I've been little I have been looking for an opportunity to compete at the next level and earn a college education. I love the game of baseball and more importantly being apart of a team. My work ethic, positive mindset and high intense game play are some of the many things I take pride in. My ambition to be successful is unmatched, let me show you. Below is a statement from former MLB player Frank Catalanottto.
''To Whom It May Concern, My name is Frank Catalanotto. I played 14 years of major league baseball with five different teams and retired in 2010. I now give private hitting lessons on Long Island and would like to let you know about a player that I work with from William Floyd high school. I've been instructing Nolan DeMelfi for more than five years now and I've been very impressed with his progress. He is a right-handed hitter with a great stroke. Nolan is very coachable and making adjustments seems to come easy to him. He is a smooth fielding third baseman who can also play second base. He will be graduating high school in 2018. Nolan comes from a good family and I can tell that he has been taught the importance of hard work. I believe with his outstanding work ethic he will continue to improve. In my opinion, Nolan would be an asset to your program and worth looking at. If you would like to contact me, please call me at (631)-804-7323 or email me at [email protected]. Thank You'' - Frank Catalanotto
