Jacob Canfield '19 Recruiting Profile

Ranking 25th in the state of New York class of 2019 RHP with PBR. I am working hard this winter with my pitching coach and hope to work my way up to the top 10.

Placing 7th out of 104 teams in the Cooperstown Dreams Park tournament was the biggest achievement of my baseball career thus far.  I feel as if I have grown the most as a student athlete my Freshman year of high school. While playing Freshman baseball I was able to focus on developing my skills as a starting pitcher much capable of playing at the college level. Taking on a leadership role on as one of the upperclassmen on the team was an honor.  I am looking to find a school that meets both my academic and athletic goals.  Being on the honor role throughout my middle school career is an achievement I am proud of.

Through my baseball career I have been very fortunate to play on a amazing local travel baseball team. Our team has won 1st place in our division for 7 years. Playing on a team with talented players and coaches helped me to develope into the player I am today.  Since April 2014 our teams has had a record of 92-17-2 including all season games and tournaments.
