I am choosing to take a gap year after graduating from high school in 2016. During this Gap year I am hoping to grow both physically and maturity wise while attending a program in Costa Rica that will allow me to learn the Spanish Language as well as shadow a doctor during my semester stay abroad. I believe that mental toughness is the most important part of the game which is why I try to always improve on it. I strive to be a leader and a good teammate on all of my sports teams. I look for opportunities to challenge myself with better competition to continue to develop and improve my skills. I would appreciate the opportunity to play collegiate baseball at a highly competitive level, in a program with a strong sports and academic culture. I work as hard at my academic development as I do at my baseball development, currently maintaining a 3.9+ GPA in a rigorous academic schedule of all accelerated classes.
